Who says sitting on Santa's lap is just for kids?

The Central New York S-P-C-A hosted it's annual Santa Paws event this weekend.

Pets and children could sit on santa's lap and get their picture taken.

It's an event many people look forward to.

"Once the Christmas season comes, they call, they stop in, they want to know when we're having Santa Paws because it's a tradition every year," says Kimberly Smith, the CNY SPCA Director of Education. "You can see the pets, they get dressed up. It's a great event."

The CNY SPCA houses over 300 animals. The group says they are always in need of donations and particualry need cat litter, dog leashes and collars.

If you would like to donate, you can call them at 454-4479 or drop donations off at:

5878 East Molly Rd.

Syracuse, NY 13211
