If you've ever wondered about your fire department's response time compared to others in the area, now is your chance to find out. Onondaga County has released a report on response times for fire departments over the first 11 months of 2010.

Some departments have a full-time staff. Others are small, volunteer departments.

The response times vary and are based on how long it took from the time the call was dispatched to when the first fire truck arrived on the scene.

The fastest response time was in Syracuse at 3 minutes and 17 seconds. The longest response time was in Jordan with 15 minutes and 48 seconds.
