SYRACUSE -- Police are investigating an incident Thursday afternoon where fireworks were set off in a school cafeteria.
According to the Syracuse Police Department, someone at Corcoran High School lit five fireworks in the school cafeteria around 12:35 p.m. Police say the cafeteria was cleared, and then another firework was set off in a stairwell.
Police say the school was not evacuated, and the incident is under investigation. No arrests have been made.
There was reportedly a fight on school grounds after the incident, but it was unrelated to the fireworks.
