Red Cross now helping residents

Firefighters were called to a burning home at 15761 Route 104 in Sterling, before light on Saturday morning.
The alarm came in at 5:48 to Cayuga County, which also called in mutual aid help from Onondaga and Oswego County fire volunteers.
The fire did extensive damage to the home, but was under control by 8am.  There were no serious injuries.
The Red Cross was called in to help the residents.
