REMSEN -- A Remsen man has been charged with DWI after a fatal accident Saturday afternoon.

State troopers say at approximately 2:00 P.M. 45-year-old Bertram Worden was driving eastbound on State Route 365 in Remsen, when he struck a car driven by 61-year-old Roy Baker of Barneveld.

Baker was pronounced dead at the scene by state troopers. Officials say Baker was attempting to make a left turn from Prospect Depot Road onto Route 365 when Worden hit him.

State police officials say Worden was immediately arrested and charged with DWI. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Trenton Court on January 4th.

State police and Marcy police are continuing to investigate the accident.
