HANNIBAL -- An Oswego County man is under arrest after police say he stole two ATVs and caused injury to a child.

According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 29-year-old Jason A. Roberts of State Route 104 in Hannibal Tuesday afternoon and charged him with felony grand larceny, misdemeanor criminal mischief, and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Police say on May 26 Roberts stole two four-wheel all-terrain vehicles from a Hannibal residence, and during the incident one of the vehicles was damaged and a child was injured.

Roberts was arraigned in Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on January 18.
