One of this area's New Year's Eve parties will be more than toasts and dancing: 'The Party' is also a tribute to the good things in Central New York. WCNY-TV24 (PBS) is putting together the Oncenter event, which includes food and an open bar, live music and a champagne toast at midnight. WCNY's Rosie Taravella says there will also be video tributes in several categories to what's been positive in the community in the past year.
The party runs 8:30pm to 12:30am, with a live telecast starting at 11pm.
