TOWN OF OSWEGO -- An Oswego man is confronted by the homeowners after breaking into their house.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say Joshua Powers, 25, of East 4th St., Bldg. 152, broke into a house in the Town of Oswego. That's when, they say, the homeowners came home and confronted him.

Deputies say Powers then jumped out the 2nd story window of the home. He was later arrested and charged with burglary, petit larceny, possession of burglar tools and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Powers is currently behind bars in the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail. He is due back in court January 10th.
