Discounted tubing, tasting, too
Next Saturday evening, the tubing hill at Four Seasons in Fayetteville will see some unusual contraptions: 'sleds' made of tape and cardboard. Some will be painted up. Sled for Red organizer Jacki Coe says the sleds are already under construction, and some are very elaborate. All will be part of the first-ever fundraiser to benefit Aids Community Resources. Coe says that in addition to the sled derby, the Saturday evening event will offer discounted tubing, as well as beer, chocolate and food sampling. The funds raised will go to youth outreach programs.
