A Pennsylvania man was killed in an agricultural accident in Jefferson County Thursday.
State Police say 66-year-old George Baker was picking up a load of hay to bring back to Pennsylvania. He was parked on County Route 5 in Lafargeville, walking along his flat-bed trailer to secure the straps holding the hay. During that process, a three-tiered stack of bales fell on him and killed him.
Police are still investigating, but do not expect any charges.
