The number of cars and trucks crossing between the United States and Canada over the Thousand Islands Bridge jumped up in 2010.
The Thousand Island Bridge Authority said there was a 4.6 percent increase in traffic from the year before in 2010, over 81,000 more crossings. A total of more than 1.86 million vehicles crossed the bridge between March and December.
The number of cars was also higher than the traffic in 2008 but under the total of 1.9 million vehicles in 2007.
