SYRACUSE -- Another local post office will shut down Friday.
It will be the last day of business for the Elmwood station on South Avenue in Syracuse. Anyone with a post office box at this site will see it moved to the Colvin Station on South Salina Street.
The U.S. Postal Service is looking for ways to close a massive budget gap. It also shut down the post office on Main Street in North Syracuse earlier this month.
