Spirit of Syracuse 'delivers'
A 20-year tradition in Syracuse continues, with the Spirit of Syracuse Chorus offering singing valentines on Valentine's weekend.
Sky Harris says small groups (not the whole chorus of 85!) will stop at homes, businesses, schools or restaurants (they've serenaded at marriage proposals) and sing one or two pre-selected songs. She says they range from very romantic, to 'thank you for being my friend,' for business friends.
The signup deadline is Feb 11 (Friday) or until all slots are filled. Performances are February 13 and 14.
