BRIDGEWATER -- A Frankfort man is dead after a snowmobile crash in Oneida County.
Oneida County Sheriff's deputies say Daniel Hubbell was driving a borrowed snowmobile on a trail between State Route 8 and Mapledale Road in the Town of Bridgewater, when he missed a curve and hit several trees.
The 51-year old was thrown from the snowmobile and died at the scene from his injuries.
Police say Hubbell was wearing a helmet, and speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.
