Three people are in the hospital, including a 3-year-old-boy, after two pick-up trucks crashed into each other in Auburn.

Auburn police say around 9 A.M. a pick-up truck driven by 38 year-old R.C. Townsend Jr.of Port Byron crossed the yellow line on Standart Ave. and crashed head-on into another pick-up truck, driven by 55 year-old Mathew St. Claire of Auburn.

3 year-old Vinny Barski and 21 year-old Camille Racona were passengers in Townsend's vehicle and were taken to University Hospital with injuries.

St. Claire was transported to Auburn Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Townsend was issued three tickets resulting from the crash, including speeding and failure not to keep right.

Officials says the slicks roads may have played a part in the crash.
