Auburn's Business Improvement District (BID) is reaching out to grow, by getting nationwide exposure as a destination.
Connie Reilley, executive director for BID, says Auburn has been invited to join Downtowndifferent, a web-based portal that showcases small and mid-sized communities.  Reilley says the aim is to let people know there's lots 'off the interstate' by showcasing things to do an see in the community (Seward House, the proposed Harriet Tubman Park,  Tiffany's Willard Chapel, the Schweinfurth and more). Auburn expects to see results from the outreach this summer.
