MARATHON -- The superintendent of the Marathon Central School District suddenly resigned Wednesday night.
Timothy Turecek drew anger from parents recently for a talk he gave in front of students. Members of the school board insist Turecek was not fired, but quit on his own. They won't comment any further.
It's unclear if Turecek will remain on the job through the end of his contract this summer.
