Two local men are accused of committing various crimes across three different counties.
State police say Shane Finch, 20, of 353 Sullivan Rd. in West Winfield, and Ryan Nicholas, 18, of 2354 Co. Hwy. 20 in Edmeston stole items from the Wal Mart Supercenter in New Hartford and Utica. They were charged with petit larceny.
They are are charged with felony criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say the arrests stem from an investigation into several criminal mischief complaints in the Town of Paris and the Town of Bridgewater. Witnesses told police say saw the suspects in a small white Subaru.
Finch was released on appearance tickets. Nicholas was sent to the Madison County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 bail.
