State Police have in Auburn have identified the man who fell to his death Friday in Sterling.
Police say at approximately 5 P.M., 41 year-old Carmen Garcia of Fulton was clearing snow and ice off the roof of the onion processing plant at Bland Farms in Sterling. Police say he lost his balance and fell through a skylight and down 30 feet to the concrete floor.
He was pronounced dead at Oswego hospital at 5:35 P.M.
Police say OSHA will begin an investigation into the incident.
