FOCUS Greater Syracuse is working on a 'how to' for civil and constructive public meetings.  Executive Director Chuckie Holstein says planning was already underway, in the aftermath of a Liverpool School Board meeting that ended with a participant having a heart attack, but the shootings at a town meeting in Tucson have added urgency to setting guidelines that will keep all safe, and also accomplish goals.
The input forum, being done in partnership with the SU Maxwell School's Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration, is Friday, 7:30 - 9am  at Syracuse City Hall Commons.
Holstein expects over a hundred people to attend.
