SYRACUSE -- Remember the other day when it felt like Spring and for once...just once, it felt warm enough to throw on a pair of flip flops and go for a stroll? Well, I guess if you blinked -- you missed it, because Old Man Winter is back in Syracuse.
Some people love it -- like Joe Borasky. He's building a massive snow castle in Clinton Square for Syracuse's Winterfest. For Borasky, the frigid weather is back just in time.
"Yesterday (Friday) it was 55 degrees and I was outside unloading my ice in a t-shirt -- and I was afraid I'd lose a lot of my ice," he said.
His ice made it, which means Borasky could get back to work. Borasky said his ice castle, which is made using 16,000 pounds of ice, will be about 16 feet tall when it's finished in the next day.
But while winter weather's return to Central New York made Borasky's day, others weren't so thrilled.
"It's a burden this weather...the snow is just not for me...I don't like it," said Rick Rowe.
One woman told me she'd like to be somewhere else.
"Probably Las Vegas, playing the slots...enjoying that warm weather," said Donna Ross.
Borasky said Syracuse is the place to be hopes the cold, snowy weather stays for a while.
What do you think? Are you ready for Spring...or would you like to see some more snow?
