While no records were set, the temperatures are certainly a top story today and will continue to be through Wednesday morning.

Did the cold weather slow you down today? Did your car start up? Tell us your story by commenting on this web story at the bottom of the page.

Read the list of the bitterly cold temperatures that occurred in our area this morning. Very similar numbers are expected again Wednesday morning due to combination of clear skies, no wind and a similar air-mass. Radiational cooling will allow the temperature to fall as far as possible across the area.

While the wind chills this morning and once again Wednesday morning will not be in the dangerous category, it will still be a good idea to dress very warmly again Wednesday morning. This wind chill chart shows approximations of frostbite times with how cold the wind chill. Keep this chart handy when the weather turns arctic like this.
