2nd night for fire in that area
For the second night in a row, fire volunteers were called to a serious house fire in Orwell, Oswego County.
This time, to a home at 8 Gay Road, just a short way from Friday night's Beach Road blaze.
Oswego County 911 tells us the alarm came in at 11:32 Saturday night, and four fire departments---Altmar, Mexico, Refield and West Amboy, were at the scene til 5:11 this morning. The garage fire spread to the attached home, which 911 says is a total loss. The family of five is staying with relatives. A vehicle in the garage is being blamed---the Oswego Sheriff's Department tells us it is not suspicious.
