Two arrested in Hannibal burglaries

HANNIBAL -- State Police report they've cracked a burglary case from last August with the arrest of two men from Hannibal.

Troopers first began investigating a burglary of the now-closed Ormsby Iron Works at 48 Woodruff Road, Hannibal on August 22nd. Now troopers say they found the two men they believe are responsible.

On February 24, 31-year-old Michael E. Shoults Jr. of County Route 8 in Granby was arrested. On February 28, 26-year-old Marcus J. Simmons Mill Street in Hannibal was also arrested.

Both subjects were charged with burglary in the third degree
