SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a shooting overnight that left two men wounded.
Police spokesman Sgt. Thomas Connellan says the two victims, identified as 26-year-old Barry Bell of Syracuse and 21-year-old Jaycia Davis of Syracuse were sitting in Bell's car in the 100 block of Kirk Park Drive at 12:32 a.m. The victims told police a Dodge Charger drove up alongside them and someone in the Charger fired six shots.
Bell was struck several times in the left arm and torso, while Davis was struck in the right lower leg. A third person in their car was not injured.
The victims then drove themselves to Community General Hospital, and they were then transferred to Upstate University Hospital and are being treated for non-life threatening wounds.
Police have no information on a possible suspect.
