ONEIDA COUNTY -- Al Gore will deliver the commencement address at Hamilton College this May. Gore served as Vice President under President Bill Clinton. He is also a Nobel Laureate, and wrote the book on global warming, An Inconvenient Truth.
Gore will be awarded an honorary degree at the ceremony, along with Patsy Couper, a benefactor of the college, Paul Lieberstein, a Hamilton graduate who now works on NBC's "The Office," and John Sexton, president of New York University.
The commencement address is scheduled for Sunday, May 22nd at 10:30 in the morning in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
