SOLVAY -- An Onondaga County woman was arrested this week after police say she stole customers’ belongings from a local gym.
According to a report from the Solvay Police Department, officers investigated several complaints of personal items being taken from the Westvale Plaza Planet Fitness on West Genesee Street. Police say they identified 32-year-old Amy Lyle of Bayridge Road in Cicero as the suspect, and say she confessed after being interviewed by a police detective.
Police say they were able to track down Lyle after she used a victim’s debit card.
Lyle was arrested on Thursday afternoon and charged with grand larceny and identity theft. She was released on appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
