I-81 South is open to traffic again

SYRACUSE -- Update:Southbound lanes of Interstate 81 reopened around 11:30 this morning. the southbound lanes of the highway closed at the height of the morning rush hour because of some jackknifed and disabled tractor trailers. Traffic was detoured off the highway to either 481 northbound or onto South Salina Street/Route 11, creating substantial backups.
