A Price Chopper was locked down this morning in Oswego County as police dealt with a possibly suicidal man in the parking lot.
Oswego Police say at approximately 8:30 A.M. they responded to a call from the Price Chopper on 101 State Route 104 East.
Through their investigation, police say a man was sitting in his car possibly armed with a handgun. Authorities say he was potentially a threat to himself and others. Police told all Price Chopper shoppers to remain in the store until the situation could be resolved.
Police say the suspect would not cooperate with police and authorities eventually broke the car window and tasered the man.
Police say they recovered a handgun in the car. The suspect was arrested and taken to Oswego Hospital for evaluation.
