Collects food for area pantries, help programs
St Joseph's feast day is March 19th, and it's traditionally the date that a Syracuse North Side food drive ends. This year, the need is so great that St. Joseph's Table is being extended to the end of the month.
Toni Di Scenna, who helps coordinate the non-perishable foods drive, says they'll keep collecting at Discenna Travel, on North Salina Street, Mondays and Wednesdays 10 - 4, Tuesdays 10 - 1, or call 478-3115 to set up a dropoff appointment.
