WATERLOO, IA -- There is new information Wednesday about a Central New Yorker killed on the job in Iowa.

Parish native Rochelle Perry died on March 10th while working as an engineer for the John Deere Corporation.

The 23-year-old graduated from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School and earned two degrees at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

According to NBC affiliate KWWL in Waterloo, Iowa, Perry apparently lost control of a tractor, slamming into a utility pole while driving from one John Deere plant to another.

A vigil was held in Iowa in her memory Monday night.
