SYRACUSE -- If you hear sirens near the Syracuse University campus Friday morning, don't be alarmed; it's just a test. SU will conduct a test of the ORANGE ALERT Campus Crisis Alert Notification System at 1 p.m. Friday.

An ORANGE ALERT test messaging will be sent out to all SU students, faculty and staff along with SUNY-ESF students and faculty who have signed up for the notifications.

Also, you can expect to hear ORANGE ALERT outdoor sirens on SU's North and South campuses. The sirens will be activated for a single 10-second blast.
