SYRACUSE -- If you are in the vicinity of the Syracuse University campus this afternoon, you may hear some sirens.
The university is testing the campus' Orange Alert Campus Crisis Alert Notification System.
The sirens will sound off at 1pm with a single ten second blast.
Additionally, students and staff at SU and SUNY-ESF who have signed up for text messages will receive an alert on their wireless devices.
