SCIPIO, CAYUGA CO. -- A brother and sister are facing charges in connection with a missing 14-year-old Steuben County girl who was found safe near Auburn.

Ryan Mcdermott, 19, and his sister Allison Mcdermott, 20, both of Atlanta, are charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

We first told you about this story on CNY Central.com on Wednesday.

Hayley Braziel, 14, was reported missing from her home on Cohocton. Police say she was later found in a stolen vehicle on Route 34 near Auburn with the Mcdermott siblings. Police think they were trying to make their way down to Florida.

The Mcdermotts are both currently in the Cayuga County Jail on $1,500 cash bail.

State police are filing warrants in Steuben County for additional charges against both siblings.
