Multi-month drug investigation leads to 2 arrests in Cortland

CORTLAND -- Two people are facing drug charges in a Cortland drug bust.

It stems from a several month investigation into cocaine sales in the city of Cortland.

On March 11th, the Cortland County Drug Task Force conducted a search warrant at 24 1/2 Miller Street, where they seized approximately 10 grams of powder cocaine and and about $7,000 in cash.

Charlotte Fox, 48, of 4462 Bailey Road in Tully, and Richard West, 61, of 24 1/2 Miller Street in Cortland, are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

They were arraigned in Cortland City Court and released on their own recognizance.
