Women accused of bringing heroin, pills into Marcy jail

MARCY, ONEIDA CO. -- Two people are accused of bringing heroin and prescription pills into the Marcy Correctional Facility.

State police say 24-year-old Jessica Perez, of New Jersey, and 48-year-old Diana Linares, of New York City, brought 55 glassine envelopes of heroin and suboxone pills into the Marcy Correctional Facility.

They are both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. The women were arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail.
