UTICA -- A domestic violence incident ends in the arrest of a Utica man.

Around 12:04 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the scene near Chestnut Street and Lincoln Avenue.

The woman told police she and her ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Victor Sanchez, got into a verbal fight in his car. She says he stopped the car and told her to get out, then punched her in the face, causing her nose to bleed and swell. The woman told police Sanchez then pushed her out of the car while it was still moving and ran over her leg.

She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where she was treated for a fracture to her tight tibia and nasal bone.

Sanchez was arrested and charged with assault and reckless endangerment. He was taken into custody and held on $1,500 bail.
