ONEIDA CO. -- A Holland Patent man is accused of passing counterfeit bills at a local VFW post in Oneida County.

29-year-old Thomas Grant, of 8829 Camroden Road, is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.

He is accused of passing counterfeit $50 bills at the VFW in Stittville and at the Hideaway Pub in the Town of Floyd.

Grant was arraigned in the Town of Floyd Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $5,000 bail.
