SYRACUSE -- One night before its grand opening, the fast-growing restaurant chain Chipotle invited a few hundred people to preview what it has to offer at its newest location in Syracuse.
The new store on Marshall Street on the Syracuse University Hill takes over the space formerly occupied by King David Restaurant. Chipotle has totally transformed the interior of the space, which will be unrecognizable to those who frequented King David over the years.
In anticipation of massive crowds for Tuesday's grand opening, the official Twitter account for the company, @ChipotleTweets wrote the place is going to "C-R-A-N-K."
Chipotle opened its first location in Central New York last year, on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt.
