UTICA -- A Utica woman is charged with falsely reporting a rape.

Utica police say 26-year-old Jasmine Johnson told them she was on Varick Street last August and was drinking when she went to Pasquale's Pizza. While there, she told police she was taken out of the bathroom by a man she didn't know and woke up the next morning outside the pizza shop and found she was raped.

Over the last 8 months, investigators have interviewed several witnesses and reviewed hours of videotape to try and find the attacker. They have even had several men take DNA tests.

Now, police say Johnson lied about the incident and admits the sexual contact was consensual.

She is charged with filing a false written instrument, a misdemeanor.
