ONEIDA -- A drug bust in Oneida leads to the arrest of three people. Parents in the area are now being warned about acid put on candy and sold.
Oneida City Police executed a search warrant at 1103 Kelly Road around 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
Police say they seized 33.8 grams of cocaine, 8.5 grams of LSD, 107.4 grams of marijuana and .6 grams of heroin, suboxone, methadone along with cash and drug scales.
Police say drops of LSD were put on sour patch kids candy and sold for use. Police say there is no information that the product was sold to kids or that kids had access to them. However, they are urging parents to talk to their kids about the danger of eating candy from an unknown source or out of a package.
Michael Matzell, 25, and Molly Frink, 23, are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
They were arraigned in Oneida City Court and sent to the Madison County Jail.
Police executed another search warrant at 334 Stone Street. Police say they seized 43.6 grams of marijuana.
Stephen Angle, 20, is charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court April 21st.
