UTICA -- A Utica man is arrested four times in a matter of weeks and twice in one weekend. 20-year-old Jasmin Rizvic, of Howard Avenue, was arrested on drug charges Sunday morning during a traffic stop.
Utica police pulled over Rizvic around 1:09 a.m. at the intersection of Arthur Street and Conkling Avenue. Police say he had hydrocodone on him. He's charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and having a controlled substance not in its original container.
Two days earlier, around 4:25 p.m. Friday, Rizvic was arrested in front of 1518 Dudley Avenue and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Last month, we told you on CNY Central.com how Rizvic and two other men were arrested outside the Olbitston Apartments at 1431 Genesee Street following a fight. He's charged with obstructing governmental administration in that case.
Rizvic is also facing charges following an incident on March 22nd. Police say he tried to hit a man with a brick during a fight. He's charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon in that incident.
