Lyncourt students make 'buttons of hope' for Japan relief

LYNCOURT -- Wednesday, students at the Lyncourt School in Syracuse handed over a big check to help the relief effort in Japan..

The students and teachers presented the Red Cross with a check for $1,106.

They raised the money by making buttons with the Japanese symbol for hope on them and selling them.

The school principal says he's very proud of the students' hard work..
