SYRACUSE -- A packed meeting Wednesday night at SUNY Upstate Medical University with public health experts who say there's not enough information about hydrofracking to move forward with it right now in Central New York.

A panel of doctors from Cornell University talked about the controversial form of natural gas drilling. Dr. Adam Law he started getting questions from patients back in 2009 and still says he can't answer what the risks are.

Hydrofracking involves pumping water mixed with chemicals deep into the Earth to unleash natural gas.

The state is expected to release an environmental report on the process this summer, which could lift a moratorium on drilling permits.
