SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse man is accused of making counterfeit credit cards.

23-year-old Andre Greaves of Syracuse and 23-year-old Paul Hill of Brooklyn are charged with conspiracy to commit access device fraud.

The arrests stem from a lengthy investigation by the Secret Service, the U.S. Postal Inspectors and Syracuse police.

Investigators say they found more than 500 re-embossed gift cards containing a 16 digit credit card number and the name Andre Greaves embossed on the cards. Authorities say they also recovered an embosser with Greaves' name on it and a magnetic stripe encoder connected to a lap top computer. They say some of the cards were used in Syracuse and the greater New York Metropolitan area.

If convicted, the men face 5 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
