JAMESVILLE -- All lanes are back open on Route 481 Northbound following a crash on the highway in DeWitt.

One lane was closed between Jamesville Road and Exit 3E (Fayetteville).

DeWitt police say a dump truck from J.K. Tobin Construction got a flat tire, causing the tailgate to shift and release asphalt.

The driver was able to safely move to the side of the road. Members of the construction company and the Town of DeWitt Highway Department were able to quickly clean up the highway.

No tickets were issued.
