EAST SYRACUSE -- Firefighters made quick work of a fire near the James Street Wegmans this afternoon.
The fire sparked at about 2:30 this afternoon at a building near W. Manlius Street. It took crews about 15 minutes to put the fire out. There is an apartment upstairs, but no one was home at the time.
Firefighters tell us the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
