Baldwinsville Police have arrested a second man in connection with a hammer attack.

Police have arrested 26 year-old LeVaughn McArthur of Syracuse. McArthur has been charged with 1st degree assault, burglary, and attempted robbery, among other charges.

Police say McArthur and another assailant broke into a Baldwinsville home on April 9th and attacked a 33 year-old victim with a hammer. The victim is still hospitalized with a serious skull fracture.

McArthur is the second man arrested for the attack, police say they previously arrested 29 year-old Richard Pitcher of Warners on April 12th in connection with the assault.

McArthur is being held on $200,000 bond and is scheduled to next appear in court on Wednesday.
