(AP) -- A student who claims he was spanked and locked up in a fraternity hazing is suing Hartwick College in Oneonta over the ordeal.

Brooklyn resident Michael Warren filed the lawsuit in Brooklyn Supreme Court. He's seeking damages from the college, a fraternity house and some members of the Alpha Delta Omega fraternity.

According to the Daily News, Warren claims he was hit with a wooden paddle and confined for hours in a bathroom where he was kept awake by loud music and strobe lights. His lawyer claims Warren was traumatized.

The school didn't return a call seeking comment. A number for the fraternity wasn't working, and the organization is no longer listed on the school website.
