Update: New York State Electric and Gas reports that power has been restored to customers in the Elbridge area who lost power earlier this morning.

New York State Electric and Gas report 3,482 of their customers in Onondaga County are without power this morning. The power outage has prompted the Jordan-Elbridge School District to delay the start of school by 2 hours this morning.
NYSEG's website reports most of the outages are in the Town and Village of Elbridge where 2,144 customers lost power. 619 customers in Jordan are without power, 559 lost electricity in Van Buren, and 152 in the Town of Camillus. No word on what caused the power outage, but NYSEG estimates they will have power restored around 10am.
